Gluteal Tendinopathy patient education video - launched by

Our fellow Member Organisation in Ireland has launched a new patient resource video . . . .

“We are delighted to let you know about a patient education resource for people with gluteal tendinopathy. We wanted to develop some evidence-based patient education resources on the management of Gluteal Tendinopathy, that would be freely available to our patient and public populations.

The content was developed through collaboration between the LEAP Ireland research team here at RCSI School of Physiotherapy, including myself, Dr Sania Almousa, and Sinead Roche, the project manager for this project, and the Australian LEAP team, Prof Bill Vicenzino, Dr Rebecca Mellor and Dr Alison Grimaldi, based at the University of Queensland, and of course also in collaboration with our public advisory panel. This project was funded by a Health Research Board Ireland Knowledge Translation Award.

The 5 min patient education video, on ‘Managing Gluteal Tendinopathy’ can be viewed below:

There is also a downloadable PDF Resource available

We hope our colleagues will find this a useful resource when working with patients who present with this condition. We are hoping that it can be actively promoted as an accessible and meaningful resource for those wishing to learn more about the condition."
