I am passionate about working with people to help them achieve their goals. My approach is always practical and pragmatic, ensuring that treatment plans are individually tailored and developed collaboratively. I believe in finding the best way forward for each person by working with their own ideas, needs, and goals.
I began my career in 2003 in sports rehabilitation, working with a number of rugby and football teams. In 2009, I completed my MSc in Physiotherapy and published my first research paper from my MSc project. I presented this work at a European conference, where I was also nominated for the Young Physiologist Award. Following this, I worked as a physiotherapist in the NHS for five years, developing a strong foundation in clinical practice.
Building on this, I went on to complete an MSc in Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2014. My research during this programme focused on exercise and rotator cuff–related shoulder pain, which I presented at the World Physiotherapy Congress in 2015. I have been involved in research about shared decision-making with people in pain, which was published in 2025.
Since 2014, I have been a member of the Professional Development Committee for the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. Alongside this, since 2015 I have taught as a guest lecturer and examiner on the MSc Sport Medicine programme, combining academic teaching with clinical insight.
My clinical experience includes working as Head of Rehabilitation at Pure Sports Medicine, as well as with elite sports teams such as Arsenal Ladies Football Club, London Wasps Rugby Club, and Richmond Rugby Club. I have also acted as a placement mentor for MSc Physiotherapy students and have worked within Imperial NHS Trust.
My career brings together clinical practice, research, and education, with a consistent focus on supporting people to move forward from pain and restriction, and return to what is important to them.
