I am a Consultant Physiotherapist with extensive experience across NHS and private practice, specialising in complex spinal conditions, advanced rehabilitation and evidence-based care. I have held senior clinical and leadership roles across multiple NHS organisations.
Notably, I am the first and only physiotherapist to have been appointed as a Consultant Spinal Physiotherapist across two consecutive NHS Trusts, reflecting clinical expertise and leadership at the highest level of physiotherapy practice.
My career has progressed from leading spinal services as the South East London and Kent Regional Spinal Network Physiotherapy Lead to my current role as Thames Valley Regional Spinal Physiotherapy Lead. I provide strategic leadership, support service development and work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care and outcomes.
I am actively involved in research and service innovation, contributing to the development of evidence-based spinal pathways and rehabilitation strategies.
Alongside my clinical and leadership roles, I serve as Secretary of the Consultant Physiotherapy Professional Network (CPPN), supporting national collaboration, leadership development and the advancement of consultant-level physiotherapy practice across the UK.
I continue to combine NHS leadership with private clinical practice, providing specialist assessment and tailored rehabilitation for patients with musculoskeletal and complex spinal conditions.
