Are you looking to improve your skills in providing rehabilitation for lower limb conditions?
This 1-day course will cover the following :
- Early, middle and late-stage rehabilitation.
- Maximal strength training.
- Muscle and tendon exercise prescription.
- Explosive strength training modalities for clinical populations.
- Stages of neuromuscular development and relevance to rehabilitation.
- Clinical assessment of muscle performance.
- Skill acquisition and motor learning.
- Exercise programming for metabolic, cardiorespiratory function and return to sport and health related fitness.
- Change of direction and agility.
- Long term programming and periodization in rehabilitation.
It will include principles of lower limb strength and conditioning,clinical reasoning framework for structured lower limb rehabilitation and skilled selection and prescription of appropriate
exercise for strength, power, and cardiorespiratory development.

Uzo Ehiogu
Uzo Ehiogu is a Clinical Teaching Fellow and Clinical Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at the Royal Orthopaedic hospital in Birmingham where he specialises in late-stage lower limb rehabilitation, climbing injuries and physical preparation. He has Bachelors Degrees in Applied Sports Science and Physiotherapy and Masters of Science degrees in Strength and Conditioning and also Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy. He is a full member ofthe Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP) and is an Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach with the UK Strength and Conditioning Association. He has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Additionally,he is author and co-author of chapters in the The Shoulder Theory and Practice and Climbing Medicine - A practicalGuide, text books, and peer reviewed publications.
