Due to the current Portfolio Route lead stepping down, the MACP Executive Committee is looking for experienced MSK clinicians for the posts of Standard Portfolio Route Lead and Accelerated Portfolio Route Lead.

Accelerated Portfolio Route Lead JD

The post holders will support the CEA and MACP Executive Committee in delivering a wide range of functions that ensures the successful implementation of portfolio routes to MACP membership. The post holders will have proven leadership capability, MSK clinical experience and have an academic interest in training and education across primary and secondary care.

The role involves working with internal and external regional stakeholders such as the MACP Executive Committee, Chair of CEA and other educational stakeholders.  Working with the CEA chair, they will help implement the portfolio routes to membership.  They will also offer guidance to potential members wishing to apply for the routes to membership.  The post holder will be professionally and managerially accountable to the Chair of the CEA. 

The job descriptions provide an outline of the tasks, responsibilities and outcomes required of the roles.  It is expected that both roles will require one day a week for approximately a year until the pathway is fully established.

Closing date for applications will be the 12th February 2021 with the proposed date for  interviews provisionally the week commencing 22nd February 2021.
