Requirements for Membership

There are two categories of membership, full and associate. Only physiotherapists with a minimum of 2 years postgraduate experience can become an MACP member. There are currently over 1000 MACP full members who are involved in many areas of practice including the NHS, private practice, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research in the UK and overseas.

Entry to Full membership is via:

One of the full or part time Manipulative Therapy postgraduate courses run in the UK

Physiotherapists undertaking one of the above recognised courses of study that leads to full membership can become Associate members of the MACP.
